Ok after being away from racquetball for nearly 10 years I've picked it back up again. I joined a local club "The Big C" in Concord, CA a few weeks back and have just been getting back into the swing of things and trying to get my endurance level back up to play a full game without passing out.
I had a lesson today with Dave and he reviewed some of the lessons and drills I used to do 10 years ago and after a 10-15 min warm up with him and another member Terry we did a round robin just to get used to balls bouncing all around etc setting up serves mostly to the backhand. I think most of my "issues" revolve around being completely out of shape. I'll try not to be too hard on myself but there is no doubt that a majority of my faults came from the feet not moving quite as fast as they once did.
After the 30 mins or so of volleying and practice, forehand, backhand, serves etc Terry and I hit the ball around for about an hour. I did well definitely need to work on the endurance...
So now it's about 1 hour after working out and I can feel my legs tightening up on me...Ugh this could be ugly:-)
