Last Wed I took off from working out/racquetball and Thursday am woke up with a huge head cold. At this time I'd like to thank my wife and kids for sharing their germs with me. I thought I was going to skirt by, everyone in the family was getting better. I didn't even make it work on Thursday or Friday. Not like me at all. But I could not even think clearly.
So after nearly a week I got back into the gym, with a head full of coagulous "fluid" clogging my sinus passages. I felt drained but it was good to get back into the gym, I was itching to go last Friday but there was just no way that was going to happen.
Cardio was not an option, as I can barely breathe. I've been a mouth breather for the past week, so I just hit some forehands and backhands then worked on high bounces off the back wall to a kill shot. Forehand was working pretty good. Backhand not bad just not on target.
Hopefully this will get out of my system quickly and I'll be able to resume cardio which is sorely needed. I signed up for the league plays which starts in a week or 2 so I need to hit it hard...
Having a sinus infection does have it's advantages though. Over the weekend I made Tomatoe Picadilli Relish. 8 tomotoes, 4 onions and 2 red bell peppers. The wife said the hole house still smells like onions this am but I couldn't smell a thing. Disadvantage is taste is nearly gone as well.
